Our new project for 2025 started this week during the school half term at our home studio at The Beaufort Theatre. Our company dancers Catrin, Georgina and Louis worked with community dancers together with young people from our partner organisations Off The Streets and All Saints RC Primary School.
The project involves identity exploration and prevention of suicide and self harm.
The children and young people have been creating their own movement phrases and also learning choreography from the professional company dancers. They had a tough week working very hard in the school holiday.
The project will continue until April 2025 when it will culminate in a festival at The Beaufort Theatre in an immersive performance for family, friends and the general community.
