In The Community

To fulfil an identified gap of a lack of middle scale dance able to tour both nationally and internationally

  • to continue to develop audiences for high quality dance in areas where dance is a growing art form
  • to generate employment opportunities for professional dancers and choreographers who are Wales based
  • to generate opportunities for dance graduates (apprentice scheme)
  • to generate relevant and stimulating work experience opportunities for students of dance

PROFESSIONAL LEVEL

During rehearsal times, professional dancers are able to join the company for professional class.  Please contact FFIN DANCE in advance.

GRADUATES

FFIN DANCE invites dancers, students and newly qualified dance artists to develop skills and find support for working with the community and schools.

SCHOOLS

FFIN DANCE can provide:

Workshops, which could lead to a curtain raiser performance where your students perform in the same performance as our professional dancers. This could be at your studio or centre.

One-day workshops for teachers and leaders of dance activities

Workshops that can enhance cross-curricular learning

YOUTH GROUPS

FFIN DANCE can provide:

Activities that offer exciting ways to engage young people
Dance activities that promote healthy life styles
Activities that promote a better understanding of citizenship

ARTS DEVELOPMENT

Working together with FFIN DANCE can help to support developing partnerships with other agencies such as community first groups and social services. A dance residency in your area could assist a promotion of dance activities by inviting all key partners to attend an end of week performance.
If developing an audience for dance is a focus, this can make an amazing impact.
FFIN DANCE can present matineé and evening performances and offer discussions with the company.
